Lili Ruzsiczky

Research Analyst

 

 

Lili joined SPI in November 2024. As a Research Analyst, she works across a range of studies, providing valuable critical assessments and insights.

Lili has a particular speciality in policy analysis and government affairs. At SPI, she is involved in developing a strategic roadmap for the Philippines’ screen sector, as well as studies establishing incentive programmes and film commissions for clients in the Gulf and Caribbean regions.

Lili is also currently contributing to SPI’s involvement in the CoSTAR Foresight Lab, a UKRI-funded programme aimed at supporting the development of state-of-the-art facilities and expertise for the UK’s screen and performance sectors. She provides strategic input, analysis, and forecasting on the international context, including advanced media production policies and global AI legislation.

Additionally, she is working on assessing the economic impact of original productions in Australia for a major studio, as well as contributing to SPI’s Global Incentives Index, which tracks over 120 production incentive systems worldwide. 

Before joining SPI, Lili worked as a public policy and government affairs consultant both in London and in Budapest, researching EU, UK and Hungarian regulatory matters and policy developments. Before that, Lili worked on the set of a feature film co-produced by German and Hungarian partners. Lili was also a project manager for an initiative focusing on fake news, funded by the EU’s MediaFutures programme. 

Lili has a degree in Spanish and French from the University of Cambridge.
