SPI Managing Director Leon Forde to Deliver Opening Keynote Session and Participate on Panel at Warsaw Serial Con

OlsbergSPI (SPI) Managing Director Leon Forde will deliver an opening keynote session on 4th December on Best Practice in Screen Sector Development at Warsaw Serial Con.

Leon will present findings related to the recently published Best Practice in Screen Sector Development study, published by Olsberg•SPI (SPI) in partnership with the Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI). The report serves as a free playbook for governments, industry leaders, and sector partners, offering actionable insights into cultivating a thriving screen sector in the current global landscape.

Leon will also join a Q&A session on tax incentives and their key role in developing and growing the audiovisual sector, driving investment in film and TV production. Other panel members are Karolina Bielawska from the Polish Filmmakers Association, Tomasz Morawski from the Polish Producers Alliance, Paulina Czech-Malinowska from Polish Film Institue and Łukasz Poniński from Warner Bros. Discovery. Magda Sroka will be the host of discussion.
